How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

Homeowners who reach out to Complaintjane Floor Coating deserve fair treatment. If something goes wrong, we want to know. This page shows how to raise a concern and what to expect afterward. It is a general template and not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You can contact us about:

  • How a call or message with Complaintjane Floor Coating went
  • How your personal data was used or protected
  • Anything on the site that looks wrong or unclear
  • The conduct of a provider we referred you to

If the Problem Is With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent companies. Each one handles its own quotes, prices, products, warranties and customer care. If you are unhappy with a floor coating job, begin by telling the provider in writing, and keep copies of whatever you send.

Please let us know too. Your report helps keep the network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short may be removed from it. Complaintjane Floor Coating cannot settle contract disputes, handle warranty claims, refund a provider's charges or act on a provider's behalf.

What to Put in Your Message

Write to contact@complaintjane.living and include:

  • Your name and contact details
  • The date you reached us or the provider
  • The number you phoned or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's company name, if you know it
  • A short account of what happened and what outcome you hope for

What Happens Next

We will confirm by email that we received your message, usually within a few business days. We will then review the matter, which may include speaking with the provider. After that, we will tell you what we found and what we plan to do.

If You Are Still Unhappy

If our answer does not settle things, reply and ask for a second review. You may also contact your state attorney general or consumer protection office, or the Better Business Bureau in your area. If the provider is a licensed contractor, your state licensing board may be able to help as well.
